Hello,
I have read many positive reviews about vista and VDJ, so I would like to go for it too..
Now I'm having laptop with dual core 2.0 Mhz, 2 Gig of ram, and nvidia geforce go 7600.
Laptop has xp ands vdj installed + unfortunately a lot of other stuff.
As DJ equipment, I have DAC-3 controller and esi u46 soundcard. I have also ordered ecler nuo 4 mixer and two XP-10s. I am not completely happy with laptop since I got some crackling here and there when playing videos.
Could it be a great idea to buy and install vista over xp? I would use vista only for vdj and xp for all the other programs. Would it work so that I could choose operating system on start up?
Is there any issues with this graphic card or DAC-3 mapper, or other stuff I have with Vista?

Thanks! It show green light.
Before I go, I have to know which Vista version is the best for VDJ and videos?
Also, does anyone try DAC-3 with the mapper? Advisor says that the dac-3 usb is ok, but what about the mapper? Mapper seems to use microsoft .NET framework...
