I've started playing around with getting my NU04 mixer to give me some nice midi messages to play with when hooked up to a DMX controller, but the problem I'm having is the midi messages from the central "midi control" rotary switches don't seem to be right. Their either always 1 - 4 when rotating clockwise, or 128 - 126 ish when rotating anti-clockwise. I've set the "type" of control this control dial is to both "relative" and "absolute" bit it always does the same thing. The midi outputs are correctly ranging when setting channels 2 & 3 to midi mode. Has anyone got any ideas or experience with this mixers midi functions?
My overall aim is to have my lighting rig controlled from the midi buttons on the mixer, i.e. press button X and all lights cut, press button Y and all lights strobe, rotate dial Z and strobe speed chances incrementally.
