Topic: Registered Today! DAC-2 and DMX questions

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

First I want to thank everyone here for their help! I've been using the forums for a while, and the information is invaluable.

I have a few unresolved questions from my digging;

1) I downloaded cstoll's DAC2 maper, and the zip file contains a .DLL file. The threads infer that an .exe file is in the zip file (At least for the DAC3 mapper), so where do I put the DLL? I'm thinking I'm missing mapping software for the DLL to configure, but I haven't found anything about it in the forums... (BTW, I chose this mapper because I like some of the more advanced features than the native support seems to provide)

2) I have seen slight mention of DMX support with USB interfaces. Is there any formal documentation on this? I have scoured the forums and the site, but I'm coming up empty.

On another note... I recently started using an M-Audio FastTrack USB interface to free up my PCI slot for a video card (1u computer chassis). I noticed my mouse is hesitant at times. Is there a quick driver/port tweek to fix this?

Best Regards, I haven't looked forward to a gig this much in a long time :)

With VDJ closed - copy the DAC2.dll found in the .zip to the
C:\Program Files\VirtualDJ\Plugins\ControlDevice folder.

Also, please make sure you read through the readme.txt file for how to use and configure the mapper.

As to your other question about DMX, sorry can't help you there. I know there was some discussion in the forums. I will look to see if you missed something.

Thanks!

I'll look into these. Is there any word on when or if this functionality will be in the software?
