Ok, this might be a waste of time in asking this, but is there really any pros and cons between having either the Maya 44 USB or the PCI version?
I have just ordered a top notch new pc to replace my ageing dj machine and i have used a PCI Soundblaster card in there for three years with not a single problem.
On the other hand I have used the USB version of the SBlaster on my higher spec laptop and it hasnt been as good to be honest. (Not as high signal output)
And with the PCI, at least it stays plugged inside the computer out of the way.
Also, is there any issues with installing MAYA soundcards on Windows Vista?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Hi nick,
There's not any vista asio drivers for the maya 44 usb yet. I'd guess it might be the same for the pci version as well.
I'd definitely check before you buy anything, alot of companys seem to have forgotten that a new version of windows has been released!!!
Oh, by the way, if you got stuck with a soundcard without drivers, it might be worth trying www.asio4all.com this is a universal driver for any WDM soundcard, so that it can function as an asio card.
