I am having trouble with my set up. I am trying to use The TCV and having no success. I have a "high end" HP with plenty of power, and VDJ ver.4.3. I have two Creative sound cards (Audigy, and Audigy 4 both ASIO capable) A Hercules DJC (the original). I am trying to use My two internal Audigy cards as I/O for the TCV signals and then audio out to my mixer (DJX700) and then line in to the HDJC ( to record. I have "ASIO for all" as well as "Creative ASIO", "HDJC ASIO" drivers installed, all latest versions.
Aside from all that however my problem it that I cannot get my internal sound cards to work properly. I am getting a signal reading when I send one TCV signal to my Audigy 4 Line in but on the cinfig page I get 100% on one window and the other window indicates that it also is receiving a signal, BUT ONLY ONE turntable is hooked up. The wave form read out on the main VDJ panel indicates #1 deck moving properly but the #2 deck is just shuttering back and forth. Audio signal is comming out of the second Audigy card. If I then move the plug to the MIC input the window on the config page displays a "Sawtooth" and/or "Box" signal. If I send the TCV signal into the "Audigy 4 LIne in" and the "Audio out cable" to the "Audigy 4 out" I can hear the TCV signal through the Mains. I know that I am getting a good signal from my turntables because I can swap cables and get signal readings from either one, I can also get a signal read from the "HDJC line in" if enabled and set up to do so. When I try different ASIO drivers I get an error message saing "Not enough channels" or "No TC signal found check Volumes cables etc."
I have tried all the ASIO drivers and numerous config set ups and I cannot get VDJ to read both TCV at the same time. I do have the HDJC disabled as the "remote control".
Can anyone help me with just a possible step by step configuration/set up with the hardware I have listed above? I know I must be doing something wrong as VDJ works fine with just the HDJC as the remote control on it's own. I am assuming I may need to just buy a single High end sound card with multiple I/O but shouldn't I be able to use what I have got to run VDJ?
Please Help!
