Topic: virtual dj 4 & dj console mk2 - headphone issues

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi Folks,

Im having issues with using the headphone section on my mk2, here is my setup

P4 3.2Ghz HT
1.5GB Ram
80gb Windows Drive
2x500GB IDE (RAID1) for music
Teratec Aureon 7.1 PCI Soundcard
Hercules DJ Console MK2
Windows XP
Virtual DJ 4 Demo

Headphones connected to the front headphone socket , dj console connected to my amplifier by output 1/2.

When i load the first song onto Deck A and start playing, the sound is fine through the speakers. If i then start a song playing on deck b and set the headphone switch to deck b, no sound is emmited fron the headphones. infact it seems the only time sound is actually emmited fron the headphones is when i set the switch to mix

Here are my settings for VDJ http://img103.mytextgraphics.com/photolava/2007/04/25/vdj4trial-469j9cq2h.gif

Here are my settings for my Dj Console http://img105.mytextgraphics.com/photolava/2007/04/25/djconsolemk2-469ja0dal.gif

Any help anyone could shed on this would be greatly appreciated

you should use a legal copy of the demo .if you where not

cracks have issues and headphone monitoring is one of them

caused by modifiying the software

hope to see you as a pro user soon

Hi, the demo I was using was downloaded from this very website - so as far as I know, its legal for the 20 day evaluation period.

Im a bit disappointed that I cant get 4.2 working as I could really do with the virtual folders and such for organising my music, but Im not going to splash out a whole lot of money on buying the pro version if I cant guarentee that my mk2 is gonna work with it.

Thanks for all your help,

Nick

It was an issue, in 4.2, but fixed in 4.3

So it works again now, in the latest version of VDJ :)

Hope that helps
