I have been using VDJ for years, but I have been using PCDJ Red VRM, for playlist playback for Dinner music at weddings. Well I purchased 2 new laptops and decided to move to fully DJing weddings with the laptops (I was primarily CD). Anyway I set up a playlist of jazz and big band for dinner music.
The problem that I am having is that quite a few of the songs are starting 1, 2, or even 3 minutes in and fading out really early. One song played a total of 15 seconds. How do you get the cut entry point marker to start at 0:00 for every song. Also I want it sto start fading with 12 seconds left. I have tried changing the auto cue through every setting and it still randomly sets the cut start cut point and end cut points where it wants. I just want it to play every song on the list from the 0:00 point and start fading with about 12 seconds left, and simply fade in the next song?

I noticed this too djst, I changed the crossfader config. and made the time to crossfade different. It helped a little, but I have noticed with AUTO on is selects the most volume appropriate place to start the next song. Not really the place I would have stared the fade from.

So how do I fix this without having to rely on PCDJVRM for playlist playback?

I believe this was mentioned a while back. The team is aware of it and working to correct it.
