Topic: VIRTUAL DJ 4 BROADCASTING **PLEASE HELP ME

I USE VIRTUAL DJ 4.0, THEN TO BROADCAST. IS THERE A WAY TO GET IT LISTED IN THE SHOUTCAST SERVERS?

yes if you stream to an external shoutcast host,
 
I STREAM IT! IT WON'T SHOW UP IN THE DIRECTORY..??? WHY NOT?
 
if you use vdj as a server it wont show up in the list


you need to stream to another server which is listed in the shoutcast lists.
 
OK NOW I'M CONFUSED. HOW DO I DO THAT?
 
 
i do it through severroom. isn't their an easy way?
 
when you use virtual dj as a server , it wont be listed in shoutcast so im afraid not.

to get listed in the radio station directory you need to connect to the shoutcast server software



 
Is there a way to make virtual dj stream through winamp?
 
 
I have a shoutcast already setup....But when you go through shoutcast via virtual dj. It will not put you in the shoutcast directory, and it doesn't let you post your instant messenger id's so people can message you. Can I broadcast out of my virtual dj and somehow get winamp to play it?
 
ok i repeat :) on virtual dj

1. set to external server

and choose the ip to 127.0.0.1

port 8001

password your shoutcast server password

2 .hit connect

3.now on the server software from nulsoft



you will see a new connection and it should be listed in shoutcast directory
