i got a numark cdn88 player & i have my maya44 hooked up to it the problem i am having is i can't start the song from the begining from my deck and sometimes the song starts to play backwords also i cant loop my songs. another thing is the cue button on my deck is suppose to start the song from my last cue point well is dose'nt do that this is my first time trying the setup on the cd player i need some help. 1 more thing when i adjust the pitch on my cd player why dose'nt the pitch move on cue?

It sounds like you don't have 100% timecode quality. Did you go into the timecode config and set up your timecode using auto config option?

yes both decks says 100% but then it goes down and up it dose'nt stay at a 100%

You are almost there. To get full function, you do have to keep 100% signal though.

Try opening your asio config and in the maya control panel, adjust the input level, then try again.

My input levels are right at the bottom of the sliders.

Also make sure you have the smart cue box ticked in timecode config.

I have the maya 44 and I am having problems with sound and it Just appears not to want to function properly vdj sometimes the light all appear and sometimes not. the sound card is brand new. my laptop is 2.4 gigs, I am using a numark dm 950usb mixer and 2 cdi300 cd tables ..help me set this thing up...please............. Tonyh2k

I don't think you can use 2 timecodes unless you have pro version of VDJ.

Might be worth trying the trick of putting the timecode into an editing program and lowering the gain by 13dB. I know that can solve it for some problems.
