I have Hercules DJ Console MK2 for Windows XP SP1 and Virtual DJ 4.2 but it happens too without the console.
When I spin treble/medium/bass I hear some noise together with music and I don't know why. I know more people who suffer this issue too.
What can we do?

It is a performance issue, try lowering performance tab and you should use XP SP2. What is your PC specs and do you use home version?

Now I have XP SP2 in a AMD 3200+ D-Core with 2 GB 533 MHz RAM. I use the free download demo at the moment.
What's that performance tab? In Config I have tested all 4 performances modes and that noise still sounding.

Performance tab in Version 4 Pro of Virtual Dj. Try also Safemode or Overclock and try to increase latency for your sound card.

In VDJ 3.4 there are no performance tab and this bug is only fixed in VDJ 4, to solve this remember to move the tone knob after the opening of Virtual DJ, the second movement of the tone knob don't create any problem.
Some other info about MK2 is in my blog.

home user = VDJ 3.4 ;)

Many thanks for your answers.
