I have the 4.3 ver of VDJ and was thumbing through the forums for karoake issues..but what I found dosent seem to help me.
A couple of questions I might ask..
Can the trak be played directly off the the cd and have text showing?Music plays but no words
so far..I went into the config and saw that the cdg karoake/zip decoder is there.
Am I missing something? Music videos seem to play fine.
If I rip them to a drive is there any special way I should have them saved as? zip file example...? or can I leave them as they are.File info for each track is a .cda. even though its a Karoake CD.

You will have to rip the cdg discs to mp3+cdg (zipped or not). The blog of PCGumshoe will explain how.
