I posted this in the forums and didn't really get any solution, so i guess its a bug?
VDJ runs perfectly for me in every sense, untill i plug in a usb mouse, then anything after 20 minutes to an hour the skin will freeze, lock up and i can't do anything till i close down the software.
Video & music continue to play ok, but once the song/video thats playing stops, there is no way to get another one playing.
I had this problem in 4.2 trial version and now in 4.3 Pro version and on 3 different brand of laptops.

Maybe thats the case. That just starts to go beyond what i understand and feel comfortable investigating. I've seen the odd post on this, but my grey matter won't comprehend it.
It looks a little too complicated, plus i haven't seen any posts about fixing this in vista, only XP

Did you use the same mouse in the '3 different brand laptops'? I'd start by removing the mouse drivers if any and using the inbox ones or if you only have the default inbox drivers then installing new ones.
I'd also try to turn off the advanced power settings (control panel/power options) such as pci express link state mgmt, usb selective suspend and updating display adapter and chipset drivers, presumably intel/nvidia in case of the listed configuration. After that I'd look for BIOS updates...
If all else fails use task managers (ctrl+shift+esc) right click virtualdj process and "Create dump file" and send it to service@virtualdj.com or support@ ... I don't remember where the dump file ends up and which is the correct email though :-)
