Anyone been able to hook up their SSL and VDJ/Numark Cue box at the SAME TIME? Running the 2 programs simotaneously?
Using custom timecode cd's? (burned with track 1 as SSL timecode and track 2 as VDJ) I imagine you'd have to split the RCA signal from the CD players and run them to both boxes... no problem there, but what about the computer reacting to 2 separate boxes hooked up via USB..... Is this possible? will it freak out?
i'm thinking of doing this on a mac pro.. i love serato for mixing mp3s..... but need VDJ for the videos.... i'm not into spinning mp3's with VDJ yet.. i just love my serato because i grew up on it and everything is so organized, just the way i like it.
Your Thoughts?

i think you'll be alright. when i used to use the sl1 box with vdj thats when it was a problem. but now i use the deta 44....& i can have both open @ the same time no problem. I think you'll be fine.
if u don't use real records/cds....u can go out of your decks to serato box.....from the thru to the input of numark sound card...then of course out from eachsound card into mixer either to seperate channels or y then to the same channels.
serato video is right around the corner mate.
i know what u mean with the ease of serato. 123 it just works

why is the delta 44 needed? and will the computer be confused with two boxes being conected at the same time? this will be wonderful if it works !

the delta 44 i now use as my vdj soundcard. so they're seperate so they don't interfere with eachother.
if u go to:
http://scratchlive.com/forum
just search for 1.8 video
you'll find plenty of stuff

It will be interesting to see how Serato's video mixing will compare with VDJ's video mixing.

most of their demo transisions are ripoffs of the ones seen here.

but the 1.8 update is only going to be for users of the TTM 57SL Mixer.
I hate pointing out the obvious again...
VDJ will still be ahead of the game when Serato finally releases their new video capabilities...
Not bashing Serato... just stating what will happen. Serato is great. Just find that VDJ has strengths where Serato doesn't. But it also works in reverse as well.
A good friend of mine is an avid Serato user on a MAC but he wants possibly use VDJ soon because of the video features. He also works in different venues that have existing equipment. So for him to have the very expensive TTM 57SL Mixer to lug around and hook up to EVERY gig is not exactly realistic. He sees what I do with my set up and how easily I adapt to different venues and gear due to the MIDI and other immediate features.

very tru....even if u did have the board...some venues u don't have the option to rio apart there stuff.
theres alot of debate of this 57 thing on serato forum now. they just want to sell for 57's which is total bs.
but thats y there here is to make money.
who knows maybe with the next update vdj will be better.
sky theres only so many vid transitions u can do mate.
