Hello,
I just downloaded the trial of Numark Cue a few days ago, and I'm testing it with my buddy's set of Virtual DJ TCV's. Everything seems to work great except for this recurring popping/crackling sound. It comes through the master as well as my headphones, so I assume it is coming from Cue and not my hardware. I have adjusted the Performance settings in the config, but it hasn't helped.
I am using a Maya 44 USB Soundcard, if it matters.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks alot!
Naalie

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately, it did not help. I still get the popping at random intervals. It really isn't the worst sound, but its gotten so annoying that I can barely listen to it anymore. Does this happen in the full version too? ... or is there a simple fix that I am just missing?

Try with Safemode or Overclock enabled, but not at the same time.

Sounds like the problem i've been having. What make of computer are you using, and do you know what video card it has in it?

Hi, just a thought, but do you guys with problems have any other USB devices plugged in while you're getting these problems? If you have, you could try unplugging everything else for a test to see if it's got anything to do with the problem.
Also, kinda standard advice, but make sure your wireless internet is disabled (the bios is the best way to do that), it's been known to interfer sometimes.

I am running a Macbook Pro with 2 gigs of ram, the 128 meg video card, and a 120 gig hard drive.
I downloaded the update from VDJ's website, but it actually just made it worse, and I tried every possible combination with the performance settings to no avail.
I looked at that post skyfxl, and I wll definitely try that right now. Thanks for all your help?

Hey guys!
Thanks alot to everyone for their great suggestions ... but it looks like all I needed to do was re-install the drivers for the Maya 44. I can't believe I didn't think of that!
I buying Cue online as we speak, I can't wait!
One more question though, do you know if I'll be able to install Cue on all my computers? I have two Macbook's (both with XP on bootcamp) and one Desktop PC. I use them all in my basement studio for various musical needs, and I would love to run Cue off of all of them. Is that at all possible?
Thanks again!
