Topic: Database is corrupted

Can anybody help me figure out this problem, it says it at the beginning when you open virtual dj (Database is Corrupted) and all my songs wont show the bpm, and i have to start all over someone please help?

go to

C:/programfiles/virtualdj

open virtualdjdatabase(yourname).xml

and look at the song tags

ensure they all look like this

<Song FileName="Noir - 16 - Killing.mp3" FileSize="3539072" TagDate="701160623">
<Display TagRead="1" />
<Infos SongLength="7801344" />
<BPM Bpm="17640" Phase="12592" BeatPhase="1" />
<FAME IsScanned="1" Volume="7982" />
<Automix MixType="3" TempoStart="453592" TempoEnd="6662872" CutStart="453632" CutEnd="7209408" FadeStart="38400" FadeEnd="7349760" />
</Song>

a currupted database usualy ocurs when tags arnt closed

 
thank you...... but one more problem, i am trying to mix and when its recording it skips why does it do this?

what processor

how much ram

 
All i know its windows xp but how do u figure out the Ram?

I think its the bitrate when you go to encode of MP3 (Plugins)?

I put 128Kbs and i think its starting to work i put it to the test and looked at the seconds and it didnt skip at all so i dont know if i made it work or what?

thats probably the cause your computer only just meets the requirements

you shoud consider upgrading the ram

and processor

or using the lower bitrate encoding
