I've imported my Itunes library into Virtual DJ - the song tag is present but not the artist or comments i have made

help please

for this it is nessary to rename your mp3 files for now using a program that reads the id3 tags such as mp3 rage

or media monkey and renames the files acordingly

full , id3 reading in vdj will be added hopefuly in 4.4
 
In the PC version, when id3 tags are enabled, It reads the song title and artist. Whenever I do the same on the mac version it doesn't show the artist. What's up with that?

whats up with using the crack?

mac is for pro users only , so technicaly is support for that version

out of date cracked versions lack funtionality

you should look at a program called mp3 rage to tag your mp3 to mac compatable id3 format
and or rename the mp3 from the tags

What's up with everytime a non-licensed user asks a question you claim they're using a cracked version?

I'm not using a cracked version! Me and my brother split the cost of vv and I not going to buy my own version until I get this shit figured out.

I know vv doesn't read the entire tag, like genre, bitrate, ect. But I don't care about that just title and artist. So your saying I need retag my mp3s. That would take forever and I wouldn't do that.
 
sorry it doesnt work like that you must both own a licence acording to the

licence terms

or please atleast use his acount.. with the licence

its called mp3 rage and allows the mass renaming via tags of your music collection so it apears correctly in music programs browsers

 
Thanks Sky. He is my brother, DJ Donnie Blaze. He is part of OUR company Visualize Chicago. We live together, all of our equipment is hooked up in our living room. We haven't yet used VV (VDJ) at gigs yet, and we are trying to get everything sorted 1st (labeling, tags, videos, bootcamp...ect.) Obviously when we start, everyone in our company will need to get registered and get VDJ or the VV package. There are quite a few people involved, no sense in buying 10-20 licenses if the program does not yet fit our needs. He's also an AVID Serato user and every non helpful post turns him farther away from wanting to integrate Virtual DJ into our company. I then always have to defend the product. Anyway, thanks for the help, we'll check it out.
