And it has to be one that wont crash when I buy a new external hard drive and have to re-scan 10,000 plus files... Right now I'm doing about 100 at a time and closing and re-opening around every 500... The whole time i pray and hope it will not crash- But it still does way too much :(

A suggestion:
If you make a shortcut for saving the database with a key-stroke you won't have to close and re-open all the time.
Just hit the key-combination and the database is saved!
It will def. save you a lot of time :)
