and I have stripped down everything and done all the tweaks skyfxl suggests and im curious should it be capable of doing video? I am not 100% positive of the video card but i beleive its a raidon 9000 and it is shared memory. I have noticed my computer recognizes the 1.256 gig of memory minus the amount used for the video card but in my bios it does not is that normal? Also it seems to run fine some videos just take about 30 seconds to about a minute to load which concerns me and the CPU usuage is full while loading the videos and stays around 3/4 full when both are loaded. I dont get skips or anything but just was curious is this normal or is it the fact my laptop cant handle video? Are there any other options besides buying a new laptop? what are the minumum requirements for doing video?

ohh and I use TCV with a fire wire sound card thru my PCI card slot. and I have my music and video files on an external usb hard drive if that info matters

for tcv it will rock , however shared memory for video may be flakey
