They are not done at all, please give them some more time.

If they needed more time, why didn’t they take more time before including this controller option in the latest VDJ release

Current support in VDJ is made purely as initial support, made in total blindness almost, as Dev Team dont have a controller to work with (yet)

I don’t understand why Dev Team would release a controller option that was almost "made in total blindness"…. Furthermore, I would think from the amount of VDJ users, Denon would have made it a top priority to get the Dev Team a controller.

I am building a new VDJ DJ system for my bar... I guess it makes sense to just get the Denon now and hope they eventually release native support?

Will the Denon work now without the native support? (at least for basic stuff?)

That makes no sense to me. Hope is not a plan. Why not wait and see what happens? Although they have great intentions, anything can happen.

It works on the dn-hc4500, but not as smotth as I'd like. It's been locking up on me. It plays and the display works, but if i try to use something like a flanger it locks up.

"Total blindness" is right but the dislpay looks nice. I can't wait until it's ready, what a tease! When I shut it off it says "GODBYE" this is probably not VDJ.

Yes, it is VDJ msg

So, is the lack of native support because they haven't done it yet, or is it because of an agreement between VDJ/PCDJ/Denon?
Since VDJ wrote all the code for VDJ, it doesn't make sense that they didn't have access to all the midi calls.

It strikes me that perhaps this is to give people a reason to use PCDJ's PCVJ...

Just tossing out a mild conspiracy theory.

It's because the controller came out during the release of version 5. Since an update was released and the basic work had been done for basic functions (As Denon DJ has reported do work), the Dev Team decided to leave it in the Remote Control list. It demonstrates that the Dev Team is committed to providing a native mapping for the controller. I would expect more and completed functionality when 5.1 releases at a later date - please don't ask when (don't know).

Here’s the HC4500 with a Denon mixer and dual CD player (Denon CD player is at the bottom):

Does anyone have pictures or a link to pictures of the back & left side of the DN-HC4500 ? ... all I can find are pictures of the front and right side.

I'm trying to figure out how this thing hooks up.

I like the case:-)
Which brand is it???

Might be Odyssey, just a wild guess.

There's nothing going on for these sides, thus no images.

Format is unable to connect to the internet at this time. Once he is back on I am sure we will get the skin OO, please be patient.

Thank you for the response ... and if this is a stupid question I apologize .. but im a bit confused (i am easily confused :) )

How would I hook up two cdj 800mk2's with a denon 500 or 900 mixer .. and run time code ?

I am planing on purchasing the controller and the 500 mixer .. will it work with time code .... if so how ?
