OK..first things first. Do not connect the DJ i/o until AFTER you have used the driver disc which came with the sound card. After you have installed the drivers reboot. You can now connect both the DJ i/o and the TC and open VDJ. Under the config settings, Remote control, tick the box next to Total Control. One down, now under sound set up, asio and choose the DJ i/o. Select channels one and two for the mains, and select channels three and four to the headphones. That should do it.
