Hi, 3 Days a go I purchased Virtual Vinyl and i am using the time codded vinyls. Couple of problems which are causing me a lot of grief.
After 10mins or so i lose controll of the turntables and the song just plays by its self. When i move the turntable i can still see it spinning on the screen it just refueses to controll the music.
The same happens sometimes when I change the song sometimes it just refuses to play the song but I can see the turntable on the screen spinning around.
Also should i be able to pick up the needle and place it any were on the record and it start to play from that point in the record like some other systemes allow you to do? At the moment when i put the record back to the begining of the record it carrys on playing at the same point i just took the needle off from.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Danny.

hello danny

i would suggest first off you add your serial

http://www.virtualdj.com/fusers/modifuser.html

so that you can get the latest update for VV which has greatly improved performance over previous versions

what is your system specification btw?

Check the version you have ( Config -> Info tab ) If it is not Version 5 Revision 4, you need to register your software ( http://www.virtualdj.com/fusers/modifuser.html ) and then go download the latest update ( http://www.virtualdj.com/update.html )

Some notes about the TimeCode settings - Go in to the TimeCode Config (Config -> Sound Setup tab -> Timecode Config button ) try you setup with the Clear Sound checked or unchecked . Also try adjusting the Pitch Sensitivity value by starting with a value of 100 ms and increment that by 100s upto 2000 ms. Most find a setting of 400 or 500 pretty good.

Hope that helps get you started.
