Updating from V5.0 Revision 4 to Revision 5 caused the following symptoms:
Upon opening the software, all drives and folders appeared normally to the left in the browser area. However, the program did not see any music or video files upon either clicking on a folder or simply searching in the box. Updating the database did not have any effect towards correcting this problem. Even if a file from the desktop is dragged directly into the program and onto one of the decks, it is not recognized (where it normally would be).
- Exiting / closing the program causes Virtual DJ to freeze and "Ctrl+Alt+Del" is the only way of closing out. This problem occurs every single time the software is opened.
Downgrading back to Rev 4 has corrected these two particular problems can anyone HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the exact same problem on two different computers, gonna try Cyders fix from the other post to see if that helps
