hey guys,
just need a bit of help i purchased 2x Numark iCDxs.
in between them lay a Vestex004FX 4 Channel Mixer
Now
Before purchasing this software (VDJ). 20 Day Trial came with the players.
I'm having a bit of trouble getting the sound out of my DELL laptop and VDJ, into the cd players.
I don't know what I have to do, do i need a soundcard?
I've tried searching the forums, but i can't find anything that helps me.
I've downloaded ASIO4ALL.
My current config is:
Inputs: Timecodes
Outputs: External Mixer
Sound cards: ASIO Driver
ASIO DRIVER: ASIO4ALL v2
Output channels: etc. etc.
can someone please help me configure this.
Thanks in advance

why not utilise the inbuilt midi control instead of the timecode it would save alot of cpu and aslo have the same effect
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Midi options : options > remotes
Tick the ICdX Box
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sound Options :
You should choose
inputs : none
Outputs : External Mixer
Card : 2 Cards
Card 1 : icdx
Card 2 : icdx
now each icdx should take one channel on the mixer like two standard cd players

The iCDX is not a sound card. The output jacks on the iCDX is only for playing CDs, not when interfacing with your computer.
You need to use your computer's sound card output OR purchase an external sound card like the U46Dj, GigaPort AG, etc.
