Topic: TCV "Timecode specific question"

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

ok quick question is the timecode for Vinyl and CD the same line of code?

the reason i ask is i want to have a custom vinyl cut from a local cutter.
really cool lookin plate i got made all ready to be cut. ;-)

but i need to know 3 things

1. can i use the TCCD mp3 Consumer Grade Sound Level thats 12min in length and trim it to 8min.
*** if not where can i obtain the Vinyl timecode audio for my personal custom TCV. it would mean alot to me ;-)

2. can the timecode be cut in mono? "33RPM" "both left and right channels will be the same"
*** if not TY, no biggie i can cut stereo as well

3. Can i cut this record for my personal use, *** Not for Resale, for actual use***

the reason i ask is the matirial i have ready to cut is very expensive and very longlasting for hardcore scratching,
lol you could probably run heavy needled and only kill the needle lol ;-)

and to answer a future question for future readers http://www.customrecords.com is where i'm having it cut.

Thank you for your time, merry Xmas. and happy holidays

1) yes you can trim it

2) It can NOT be mono, no.. Scratch wont work then, and other things might be wonky too

3) you can do what you want, even sell it if you like...

Sweet :D
cuttin it in stereo tonight ;-)

naw wont sell it, there like aluminum based with vinyl coating, very solid, i'll beat the hell outta it n update this post with "success or fail results" for future reference in case a search option is used lol ;-)

i'm willing to risk a dubplate for this cause.

Thank you Norway.

and happy holidays :-)
