ok so im new to this, i got my hercules dj controller mk2 for macs yesterday and rigged it up to my macbook and set it as my primary controller on VDJ. now this is my first midi turntable set so i have no idea what im doing! For practice i have some pretty basic small speakers which plug into the headphone slot on the macbook and sound through that. my problem is i plugged my speakers into the 1/2 slot on my MK2, this worked fine when i configured VDJ to the following settings...inputs - none, output - headphones, soundcard - mono seperated. The MK2 is my only soundcard and when i plug my headphones into this (HD205 Sennheisers) i can only listen to one deck at a time, unless i begin to crossfade in - i cant cue! Swapping between decks seems to swap which speaker the sound comes out of two. All i can think of is a audio splitter 'doohicky'?! But how would this work and how would i set this up?! do i need another sound card. Sorry i am very new to this!
