Hello there,
i'm planing to buy a Mac Book Pro (or "normal" Mac Book) because i will go on a big tour and i have left about 1.700€ to spend (I dont necessarilly want to spend ALL of my money). At the moment i am not mixing Video but (maybe) in future i will give it a try. I'm a pro DJ mixing HipHop (I scratch often, hard and fast) and it would be very important that the macbook runs smoothly with very good quality (talking about skips and crashes).
Can you recommend me something?

(P.S.: Will i be able to use my old Herc MK2 with a Mac?)

a MACBOOK with 512mb of ram is enough to run audio only (But its better to have 2 gb anyways). But if u planning to do extensive on video later, it is wise to get the MACBOOK PRO as normal MACBOOK video card even tho it is better than use from PC ( from my exprience using both), still after long usage it will jerk a bit.
u can also use ur herc mk2 as ur soundcard with mac V5;)
