The USB portion of this mixer is SOUNDCARD INPUT?OUTPUT only.
It WILL NOT work for timecoded use.
Other than that if you are using it with a controller such as a DMC2, DAC2, DAC3, Hercules DJC, or other MIDI controller then this mixer will work just fine.
It is gemini - and usually gemini work alright but are not as rugged as some of the more expensive brands.

I swear by Gemini mixers because I see ALL mixers as disposable. I have a Gemini mixer from 1998 that I still use at home. I have replaced the crossfader once. The DJ makes the set, not the thousands of dollars you sepend on a mixer. True, some will help you eliminate the soundcard (not this one or any other Gemini I know of), but if it wont, one mixer is just as good as the next.
