pls someone help me... just bought my new vv... i believe my hardware setup is correct because it plays when NONE is selected from CONFIG SOUND SETUP... however when the TC INPUTS is selected, my TC vinyl does not work properly.
The virtual turntables are spinning, i hear the time coded noise, when i play music i see hear very loud noise and i see the mixer's INPUT LED responding..
when i select TC AUTOCONFIG (there are no wave signals).... it gives message "No time Code Signal"

here is my setup:
my left turntable OUTPUT <----> vv soundcard INPUT2,
my rigth turntable OUTPUT <----> vv soundcard INPUT1,
my soundcard OUTPUT1 <----> mixer phono INPUT1,
my soundcard OUTPUT2 <----> mixer phono INPUT2,
soundcard USB <-----> macbookpro USB
mixer OUTPUT <-----> preamp and speaker
and my mixer is switched to PHONO1&2
why? why? i couldn't VDJ to work now I can't VV to work too.... please help.
Oh... by i got the same (exact error message) when i ran it on my windows PC.

Please verify you have set auto latency on the performance tab as this is nessary for the VV box to work best as it runs at the lowest possible latency at all times.
I have noticed your signal is red hot try to autoconfigure a couple of times , and try to reduce the gain.
What cartridges do you use?

i have hit the AUTOCONFIG several times... same message no TC signal... (sometimes the music speed up on VV)..
i will try the setting auto latency (under performance tab)... when i get home and i'll also pickup a new orfton Digitrack cartridge (just one for now. Is that OK?)

The digitrack would be perfect it should work fine with that.
