Hi Guys
My friend has just lent me his set up whilst he goes travelling for a year :)
i have 2 x Gemini cdjs
behringer vmx100 mixer
maya 44usb sound card
what i wanted to know was can i use my mixer to control the software? the basic functions work but when i crossfade it doesnt crossfade the software, also its a little slow on start up when i start the cdj the tune in the software is slow starting, also is there a way to sync the tracks from the cd player or mixer without touching the software?
everything else works fine and i have 100% time code signal on both decks

First of all, in order to control the software with the mixer, you will have to have a midi mixer. I am not sure what you are trying to do, but, I would hook it up like this.
Deck 1 to Input 1 on Soundcard
Deck 2 to Input 2 on Soundcard
Output 1 on Soundcard to Input 1 on Mixer
Output 2 on Soundcard to Input 2 on Mixer
Not sure about your question on syncing the tracks, the best way to do it will be to use pitch controls on the decks.
