I am trying to record while I am mixing, but even when I don't have my mixer on the side with music, it still records the sound of the muted side which ruins the mp3 because you can here everything. If you could please help me figure out how to fix this issue I would greatly appreciate it.
I am using Version 5 Rev. 6 , my soundcard is the Maya USB 44 and my machine specs are : Dell Inspirion E1505 Windows Vista; 120 GB HD; 2GB RAM; 2 GHz processor. Also I am using two Numark TTX turntables with a Numark DXM 01 USB mixer.

You need to run a line in from the mixers output to you computers internal sound card the in recording to choose line in as a source.
