It should be the one that came with it as a gift..the VDJ LE version;)

in other words, can it work with the full 4.3 for the Mac. or would you need to upgrade to 5.0.8

Nope.. u need the latest pro version for it to work properly.
Do register ur LE serial in the modify ur profile n dun forget u could have special discount too when u upgrade to pro:)
