Gang -
After installing 5.1, it seems to run quite well and gig ready. I don't use TCV or the like.
Since 4.x, the sound always had a strange anomaly - the track w/ MT applied always sounds a tad distorted. Kinda like a growl when slowed down. TRAKTOR and the new REFLEX does not exhibit this. I know perfection is not possible during keylock.
Currently using Duo Core 1.8ghz and 2gb ram and a Waveterminal 192L latest ASIO drivers. Would WDM work better? I have not tried.
Also, while a track playing, I heard a 'pop' when minimized the VDJ screen.
I tried from best to next to best and (performance) from 64 to 256 samples (ASIO control panel). Due to that quirky buffer bug, I have to use 'fast' setting.
Any advice or am I just looking for something that does not exist?
Thanks folks!

In evaluating another product (REFLEX), it did not like the Waveterminal 192L ASIO drivers. So, I tried ASIO4ALL - and worked.
So, for giggles n grins, I used ASIO4ALL on VDJ and seems to play very nice. Much better than the default ASIO drivers.
MT sounds much cleaner. Maybe it's a placebo effect...
