A key that does both 'play-pause' AND 'sync' momentarity.
I like to use the "play-pause [momentarily] shortcut ALOT ... however it doesn't sync do the beat .. having a shortcut which allows momentary operation between the 2 functions simulaneously would be great.

Did you try to add on the same shortcut this two actions?
Create 2 shortcuts for the same key, one to play_pause "temporary" and the others one to sync.
(make sure "play_pause" is upper than "sync" in the shortcut list).
This should work.
