Is there any reason why the discrete gpu kicks in whenever I launch virtual dj? I'm running mavericks i7 2.2ghz radeon hd 6750m.

Yes the temp goes up to like 88 degrees. I have gfxcardstatus, I have to set it to use integrated only. Whenever I open vdj for a test run, the discrete graphics automatically turns on. In previous versions the only time it ever activates the gpu is when I load a video or when i enable video.
In the options ''startvideoonload'' is set to ''no''

Regarding the heating, please set skinFPS to 20.
