I assume you're using the Pioneer ASIO driver. What's the buffer set to?

What are your ASIO related settings in VDJ 8?

Where's the buffer, or where's the ASIO setting in VDJ?

Please, don't make me get my CDJ-400s out. :-)

If your soundcard is recognized you should see a small "Asio" labled pic in the soundsettings.
Just click on that.

As much love as I still see for XP, be aware guys, that the platform is no longer supported by MS, and (system) patches no longer are built. 7 should run fine on the same HW as XP without problems (especially a dedicated box for VDJ)

Go into config.

Tick the box to enable advanced options (top right).

In audio options turn off (set to "no") the Ultra Latency option.

On my Asus lappy got same issue get static crackles and can just hear song in back ground. But i put VDJ8 on Desktop PC changed no settings works like a dream.

But i am not using a controller just going through earphone channel like i have with VDJ7.

So seems i need to fork out some cash and get me a controller now......oh happy days of dj'ing lol.

And My lappy is running on windows 7.But to save any problems with other programs slowing VDJ down i use a Gaming mode which closes programs that are not needed to use VDJ :)

Have you tried enabling wasapiSharedMode in the advanced config menu?

apologies if you have - i did quickly scan the thread but couldn't see whether you have tried that.
