It looks cool, and being a Denon fanboy I'm exited!

Very interesting! I'll look forward to reading some reviews about this. Denon really do seem to be making some quality products.

Can't comment until the official announcement. :-)

Pic was removed. Denon will officially announce the unit when ready.
Please avoid posting pictures in our forums for the forthcoming SC5000 unit.

Thank you

How'd you even get that catalog?

Did the Musicstore sent them out too early?

Dammit, I haven't seen it yet!

[starts up Google]

Found it!

Did a google search this morning too.

Not one piece of any (real) info out there yet.

Information plainly available on the web. Don't see the point of blocking the picture.

Let's hope Denon update their ASIO drivers for this.

Once the cat's out of the bag....

The horse has left the stable. No point closing the doors.

Etc. etc.

The image is from a Musicstore ad in a German magazine called Fazemag (issue 59). So to be honest (and IMO) it's entirely Denon's fault for releasing the pictures to the retailer(s). No one needs them yet as it's not available, or even announced.

Well no rotating platter, no internal HD and no cd drive that I can see so that pretty much counts me out.

I'll stick with my 5500's until something can match them in every way except for the screen, lmao!!

The only downside is that VDJ doesn't support the midi mode on them but I can live with that.....

I've given up on my 5500s now, as the HDDs are full.

Apparently the reason behind the static platter with this new one is that the motor had to be "redesigned and custom made by a new vendor" which has delayed release of a motorised platter version. Source = https://www.poweronplay.com/denon-sc5000-prime

Yeah, shame if there's no HDD slot. How hard can it be? Would make it more attractive as it separates it from the crowd (USP) plus mobile DJs would love it.

Nope still use mine daily but I'll still check this unit out when it's released.

Were did you get all those infos, if I search here in Germany, I get nothing with google.
Except the poweronplay link. But that was posted months ago.

Google still has a cache of this thread before the pic was removed, so you can find it there. Also the magazine is available on their website.

Denon DJ has published the image on their Facebook page, and DJWORX has posted about it too.

I see it has a layer button, so possibly two audio outs / two decks in one?

Also, with three USB connections and an SD card slot, is there really a need for an internal drive? I mean the 5500 only takes a 256GB drive max, so a 512GB SD card or flash drive would double the capacity I've got right now.

Price is the next thing....
