Topic: VDJ 2026 Teaser!
I just saw the teaser and I'm really excited to have a look at it...
Is a release date for VDJ 2026 planned yet?

Where is the teaser? Link please.

OK it's somebody talking about the teaser. Seems like it's only been teased directly to certain influencers. Is that guy even on the forum? :-)

From that very short clip, it doesn't look promising for fluid beatgrids or new streaming services.

I've just given in finally and gone for Tidal as its the only one that works in both VDJ and Engine. No point to waiting for Apple Music any longer.

we don't know about the beatgrids yet. I think the AI feature could also include an AI beatgrid update.
We'll see whenever it is released. The features in this pre-teaser could be only some of the features not the major ones. I'm still excited. :)

Maybe, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Not leading with the best stuff? Like a movie trailer showing the most boring scenes. :-)

I must admit, I love the idea of the AI Prompt, can see that becoming very handy indeed.

I did think like you. But it is no official trailer. Still hoping :)

Two years since Algoriddim released Fluid Beatgrids, and considering that Atomix announced stems on the same day as Algoriddim five years ago, it's a shame there's been such a huge gap this time.

Can someone please tell those of us that don't know what are fluid beatgrids?

Fluid Beatgrids is Algoriddim's marketing term for a beatgrid update that's (currently) more accurate than what was currently out there (with the exception of Rekordbox, which quietly made an update of BPM analysis to match).

Rekordbox has just updated their stem separation too. Now they have four (count 'em) stems - but the quality still sucks.

There's a hack/workaround with Serato for improved grids too, involving Serato Studio, so they also kinda have them. As for Traktor, well we won't go there. It's just behind the times in so many ways.

Now Digital DJ Tips is covering it live (YouTube)...

LOL Phil doesn't seem to be aware that VDJ has had Color FX for ages already!

Is it just originals or do they have dj edits??

Just originals Huey. Handy for the odd track I don't have at a gig.

Ok Thanks for the info

For me, there's no one streaming service that works in VDJ, in Engine and on my smart speakers at home. Nearest I can get is two out of three. Frustratingly, Tidal works with Alexa in the US but not in the UK.
