to say what has been said before by DjGazUK:
I'd sooner have an MP3 I can playback a million + times rather than a CD or Vinyl that might have a scratch I don't notice and start skipping during a song.

Gaz, Read my blog, 128kbps is NOT CD quality, It's ok for home use but not for gigs.

128kbps is deffinetly not CD quality. CD quality file format would be uncompressed WAV or a form of lossless compression like FLAC.

128 is near cd quality, most of mine i use 192, it's great for all uses, sometimes I'll get up to 320 but i find above that it get harder to hear any difference and the files are twice the size.

Yeah 128 isn't a good choice at all for gigs. Its ok for some songs though

In order to get good CD quality the MP3s must be at 192kb.
