Anyone know how to fix a cd player? I have a numark cdn-88 and both players are reading no disc.

I have an original (when it first came out) CDN-88 RED with the matching mixer. It died last year, same symptom, 5 minutes from the end of a prom. I had to do another prom the next night, so I upgraded to the CDN-90. I wish it could have waited for 4 more weeks, until I finished my computer setup which is now my primary system. The old system is my backup.
