I am mixing a lot of video and found a skin called "vmix 3" which has a nice layout with everything I need in front of me. I like that you can see both player's video and the output but what I noticed is when playing a video on one player and a regular mp3 in the other my resource meter is very low @ about 5-8% and the video is very clean and stable. As soon as I load a second video file my resources shoot up to almost 100% and the video's not even started(paused) at this time. The image starts to skip a little. When I start it and run both players at the same time its worse.
My question is:
Is it the skin causing the problem or is it that too much video is being displayed on the screen (basically 4 video screens)?
Great skin, is there anything I can do to get it to perform better?
I just can't figure out why it jumps from 8% to 100% by just adding a second video!
I have a very high performance PC to boot.
