I j ust bought VDJ 3.4 and want to upgrade my old profile on this forum.
But for some reason I can only log on using my old profile, and cannot log on using my new profile
I have the serial number for the product, but when I enter it I get an error message instead.
Do I have to create a brand new profile?
Thank you in advance..

You have to logon with your current (old) account. Then at the menu bar just above "Hello...." You have to click on "Modify my profile". Here you fill in your serial and you're automatically "upgraded" to professional user.
You could also click this link to modify your profile: http://www.virtualdj.com/fusers/modifuser.html

@ dj skyfxl:
The error messages this user receives or could receive is none of your business. This is team matter. And only e-service can take care of this.

Thanks, I'll try updating my profile now.
I don't like my current tag as a 'no license user' even though the version of VDJ that I used to use came with my Hercules console. I didn't illegally download it!
Also to Skyfxl - thanks for your concern. I know you were only trying to help...

Okay, I put in my correct serial number and still get this error message:
Invalid Virtual DJ serial or email - (please check that your email is the one you used when you bought Virtual DJ) -
I know it's the correct serial number cause I used it to download version 3.4.

Thanks all for the great advice but I finally figured it out!
Turns out when I bought V 3.4 the site asked me for a brand new login and I selected a new ID and password.
So now anytime I logon here I will do so with my new account name & password.
Big ups to VDJ and the very helpful community here!!
