i have a problem with recording with Rip Vinyl Prog evrytime i try to record with it it doesn't record at all please can anyone explain to me how to record with that program?

download and extract this
www.free-codecs.com/download/Lame_Encoder.htm
into the program folder
c:/programfiles/virtualdj/
should now work.

ok sounds like a reinstall is nessary
step 1.
back up your databases
virtualdjdatbase.xml
virtualdjdatabase(yourname).xml
mp3database.txt
these are located in the folder.
step 2
use the registry cleaning tool from this website to clear the registry
step 3 reinstall and place files back
ensure the codec is there
then try.

all u have to do is go into config and change ur sound card from Primary to ur actual sound car ... well tat worked for me ..no need to reinstall or download anything .....jus try that ..go into config and select ur sound car or whatever card ur using to record the track

Just select the decoder in the config of Ripvinyl (button next to the bitrate). It's useless to uninstall the software.

ok he means press config.
and look for an option to locate the .dll
point the program at the encoder and choose say 192 kbs.
