Maybe it's a stupid question, and we had a ticket in eservice on this.
But, how do you unlock the interface once locked?
Send you a PM on this also.
I had to control alt delete to get out and on restart I was back to the default skin.
There needs to be documentation on this with the skin, the interface is absolutely rendered useless once locked.
Not sure how this got approved the way it is.

When the skin is locked, click on the email address of the author.
In the description of the skin on the skin download page:
*****V1.0*****
-Mixer and video pannels on the same skin!
-Full title, author, bpm, pitch, elapsed time, remaining time.
-SYNC and MAGIC BEATMATCH on the same skin!
-Brand new fonction LOCK. You can disable the software control by mouse (for private parties when everybody can enter the Dj's area;p. To take the control back, just click on my e-mail adress)
People should read the description.
Anyway, i'll re-upload the skin, and add a message box in the installer to warn the users on this.

Good idea to read all the documentation but its the coincidental activation that I am afraid of at a gig.
It happened real time and the user wound up in eservice with it.
And yes, after I read through the 30 lines of text I found the answer at the very bottom associated with the original 1.0 version.
Its a bit of a stupidity trap the way it is and a bit dangerous imo.

The skin has been re-uploaded and i added a message box in the installer.
I don't think anybody will have the problem again.

You need to correct the description:

Can't seem to find the download to this skin -- Multi Functions v3. Big fan of the older version and do look forward to downloading the latest version but when I select the skin URL, the page doesn't exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bear in mind that this thread is from 2008 and so the skin is written for VDJ 5.2
As such, certain things will not function in VDJ 8, because the skin code has changed since then.
Even the latest (Multi Functions 6) was written 4 years ago!

squatman is there a way to remove the colors for the waveform on top? I get a solid red and blue thick line and i cannot see the wave form?

I guess you're on a Mac, because this is a bug with the Mac version of VDJ 8.
Old skins that use the <rhythm> code rather than the newer <rhythmzone> code show a solid block of colour - but only on Mac.
On PC the old code still works.
If you really want to use such an old skin, it can be modified fairly easily.
