I currently use Virtual DJ for my mobile discos and I still don't trust this software because ethier if you have it on safe mode or not the mp3 at times still makes a breaking sound at times. I am using a usb soundcard at the moment and I am just wondering if that has anything to do with it?

No it's a problem of USB bandwidth or your latency is too low

Hi guys!
I've been having this issue & came across this forum while trying to find a solution. I just registered to say that I've fixed mine by using a powered usb hub & reinstalling soundcard drivers. It seems some motherboards can't power the card alone.
Let me know if it works as I'd be very keen to find out if I've finally cured this irritating problem so many are having...
