It would be cool if you could choose the "Local WMP database" artwork displayed in the "Change Cover Artwork" dialog box.
This dialog box pops up when you select the artwork icon that is in the top right corner of the "File Infos" dialog box.

Click on the picture and then it is added to the database.

Not really.
It's a probability that the covers in WMP can't be copied into another program, because you know ms they need to protective you from your own stuff!!!
That's just a guess at the problem which I encountered myself.
What I did was deleted all Media from WMP and ripped into iTunes, Now I don't have that problem anymore.
I also use MP3Tag program to help sortout tagging and cover issues, so I recommend this to You..
