Take it one step at a time appollo and do what I suggested. This thing is getting screwed up by being all over the place.
1) we know there are videoForceFullscreen=1 issues and anyone should be able to see it easy and reported by several. Don't use videoForceFullscreen=1 until issues are resolved with it.
2) some systems exhibit tearing and mind does in window mode... - could be I need a better card but there are ways around the tearing in window mode but complex. Some cards seem to be fine in window mode. Turning on aero also helps with tearing.
3) the problems appollo is experiencing are probably unrelated to the above so need to take it one baby step at a time
