Hi,
Getting ready to buy external HD but I'm not sure which one.
What's your experience with brands ? Are access times fast or there's some delay?
So far all of my internal Seagate HDs have served me really well.
Any help is appreciated!

Western Digital Passport is great. I have two, one for video one for audio. Very reliable, and it's powered by usb, so you don't have to worry about another plug. Good luck!

If you want something fast, take a look on this:

It is bigger, but it is fast!

Thanks for the replies guys!
I forgot to mention in my first post that I'm also looking for high capacity 1 to 1.5TB.
WD also has Mirror Edition 2 x 1TB http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=466 which looks interesting.
For those of you who use most common interface USB, how is access time? do you get any delays as you put more
content? or you don't see any difference between internal and external?
Thanks!
