Is this the left handed version of the CDJ and 800?
 
Hi still no software update for cdj850 and why have you got them on your hardware page to buy when cdj850 do not work with vdj software?
 
Hello Guys!

I have 2 x CDJ-2000 players and a DJM-800 Mixer.
Now I'm started to configure them with VDJ 7. I made usb connection between the CDJs and my notebook. It is working quite well.

In the follows I want to connect my DJM mixer to the notebook via audio interface, to get functionality between the mixer and VDJ mixer part.

What i would like to get is the follows:

- CDJ as a normal CD player , connected via RCA or DIGITAL RCA to channel 1 & 4 in to the mixer.
- to channel 2&3 i want to connect Virtual DJ with 2 deck's, and controlled by CDj's

How do you think, is there any possibility to get perfect functionality or not?
How many channels must have the audio interface?
Can somebody write me down which options has to setted and installed in the software, or what i need to do exactly?

Please be so kind and write me down properly, step by step!

HI there im looking for help setting up 2 cdj 2000s and a djm 2000 to virtual dj pro 7,i hav tryed for several hours with no full functionality,the cdjs worrk fine but djm wont control the mixer in vdj could any one help me configure the sound setup (inputs,outputs,soundcard,midi setup for djm) i also have two sound cards 1 a nio 2|4 usb and m audio delta 24/96 internal, do i need these for what im trying to do, any help would be great cheers paul.
 
I have an odd issue with Deck swapping. I'm runnin gthe native usb with thte Pioneer driver off of the web site and latest firmware. When I link up and start things work just fine (I often have to go in and assign deck and outputs, but no biggie..). but when another DJ take over, specifically going into CD mode, The Pioneer audio driver locks up and thus locks up VDJ. I have to completey shut down, put both pioneers back in usb(link) mode and then restart and evryhting works fine. Is there a workaround for this? I won't always have a 3rd deck to move to to compensate for this. btw, vinyl mode awesome on these things, very reponsive. :)

Last time I used my MEP 7000 with VDJ (6.0.5)...yes that is correct. When you play an audio CD it is still sending those commands to VDJ. I am not sure if that was "fixed" or not with newer MEP firmware or with VDJ 7. I will have to pull out my MEP 7000 when I have time to verify the firmware is current and also see how VDJ 7 performs.

turn off cdj's
on your computers usb ports, swap the usb ports that your two cdjs are plugged into
turn first cdj on, let it reinstall
turn second cdj on, let it reinstall
connect them to pc/midi mode
open virtual dj

sounds nuts, but it worked for me, twice.

hallo my friend ..i have 2 cdj2000(firmware 3.20) connected (mac os) with vdj 7.02..sometimes i turn left or right cdj to usb/disc mode and cdj screen freeze ..one month i trying to find soluion through tutorials,youtube,forums etc etc an di cannnot find the solution...please contact me sonushxos@yahoo.gr to discuss topgether this problem ..please...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH..but please tell me something...when this problem happens if im in the club and play music i cannot switch off both cdjs ..if the problems happens i will swiutch off one cdj...and later the other...anyway..i ll tryithis..but this is not a solution..everytime to switch off the cdjs and again and again..please someone must have a real solution..every time i go to work(i play in a big club in greece capacity 2000 people) i have the same problem...thank you very much my friend...please if you want contact me to sonushxos@yahoo.gr

To Whomever can be of assistance:

I'm having issues with connecting 1 CDJ-350 to VDJ Pro and Timecode setting. I've downloaded both Timecode versions and can only hear the

signal. The USB option works well, but I'm trying to figure this out and now , I have a Headache! I've been able a some points, to actually see the

sound wave move when I "scratch", but that's it. I am using an iMac / Hercules RMX / Pioneer CDJ-350

Any suggestions? Thank You for your input

Hello DeeJay Paulse.I just Got ma New CDJ 2000.And my Virtual DJ Pro 6 and 7 But i prefer using the 6.Since when i received this i have been trying and trying to see if i could use both decks to spin well Like a Pro.I was not using any Controller at first and i was playing the Virtual DJ Raw at first with my Keyboard and with that i can mix,beatmatch and do everything with it smoothly without any mistake.But since when i got this new CDJ 2000 I have not been able to mix even a single song nor Load a song unto a Deck.I cant do anything with it.Its really new .Do you have any Tutorials on how best i can learn this.I don't even know how to load a song on a deck using Virtual DJ.Can you Please Help me or anyone.

Oh Yeah .I can Really Help You .make sure you set Deck 1 $ 2 to USe one Sound Card and 3 $ 4 to use the other sound cards and make 2 diffrent types of your Mono sound Splitting cord and share it to your lines on teh Mixers maybe line 1 ,2,3,4 in dat order.
try and see I wish i could make video tutorial.

tryin 2 figure out if vdj will work with a pioneer djm 2000 and 4 numark v7 players........how do i set this all up?
 
BOUGHT a PAIR of CDJ-350 PIONEER, and I'M DOING TESTING with a TRIAL VERSION of VIRTUALDJ 7 PRO. THE QUESTING AND THAT WHENEVER I PUT THE CDJS PR PLAY MIDI, RUNS EVERYTHING CORRECTLY, BUT WHEN RESOLVO PASS ONE TO CD PLAY MODE. VIRTUALDJ LATCH AND SOMETIMES HAVE TO RESTART THE PROGRAM. And When I RETURN To MIDI, Music That Was PLAYING In DECK1 (EXAMPLE) APPEARS In TWO CDJS. But the question is how to solve the problem when the CDJ-350 with VIRTUAL DJ THIS PLAYING on MIDI and VIRTUAL DJ SOFTWARE HANGS when STEP IT to CD mode.

MY FRIEND HAS a CDJ-400 and the problem DOES NOT HAPPEN with CDJ400.

NOTE: I INSTALLED the DRIVE FROM PIONEER VERSION 1,102 for WINDOWS. I AWAIT ANSWERS, THANK YOU
 
Hello everybody,

I just got 2xPioneer CDJ 100S and Audio 4 dj. I got a problem - the buttons of player did not work properly - i cant set cue point. I'm sure there was a solution somewhere in the forum, but I just can't find it.
 
I just fixed the cue problem. Now I have another - from time to time music stops ... it looks like system overload or smth .. but the CPU metter show 10-20% usage. What can be the problem and solution?
 
So i just got Hercules Deelay Trim, and having trouble connecting my CDJ1000mk2, and CDJ800 to work with Virtual DJ. Any thoughts??? Any help will be very appreciated!!

I have not seen a response for this. Has anyone else encountered the same issue?
