I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4487 laptop with a PCMCIA expansion port and 4 USB ports, running Windows Vista (32) and 2gb RAM ( I might double it to the max 4gb).
I am running Virtual DJ 5.2.1 and will be ordering the Numark DMC2 controller, which connects via USB (I think).
I will also have a USB keyboard and mouse connected.
I still need an external sound card to enable connection to my laptop (ch1 & ch2). I'm wondering if adding a USB external soundcard would be too many devices for my laptop, causing a bottleneck and ultimately making VDJ usage slow or freeze up.
Would an external PCMCIA sound card be better in my circumstance?
Any external soundcard suggestions would be appreciated.
