By 4.1 do you mean "4 Out Card" ?
Also when I do this, I do get sound from my headphones on the OMNI, but the CUE to PGM fader has no effect besides moving the dial on screen, I get both mixes all of the time.
None of the lights on the OMNI Control ever light up either. Is this normal?

Hey i cant seem to get my numark omni control to work properly with virtual DJ. all the lights work and all the buttons are ok but in the sound settings i cant hear music through the head phones. input is none, output is headphones, and soundcard is 4.1 and omni control is selected as the drivers. I have my speakers connected to my output 1. it can only be connected to my output 1 as i only have one set of leads from my speakers. I only want to hear the cues through my headphones and not needed through speakers also. Is this my problem and can i work around it? Instead of connecting my speakers to output 1 i tried it in output 2 but again im getting no sound out of it.
Im using the latest version of virual Dj the trial version to get it to work before i go out and purchase the full version so please can someone help me as soon as possible as i only have 10 days left
Please help

Hello,
just picked up the omni control myself... unfortunately i have a older ibookG4 that is not an intel dual core...as you may know the cheapest mac laptop is more or less a GRAND or so. Is there a way I can install virtual DJ on my comp. Im using OSX 10.4.11 1.2GHz PowerPC G4 Processor and I upgraded my memory to 1.25 GB. If i can just install an older version of VDJ that would be fine... just need to mix and maybe a few scratches here and there...
Your help is much appriciated... or out out a few hundred bucks for a PC laptop.
